A campaign for responsible sexual behavior of the Bulgarian Family Planning and Sexual Health (BFPA) and SEXWELL condoms ‘Condom with a Cause’ starts in January. The initiative aims to raise funds on continuing the Voluntary counseling and testing (VCT) for HIV and other sexually transmitted infections which the Association provided during the last years, with funding from the Global Fund (GFATM).
Our socially responsible partners from SEXWELL will sell special packages with Condoms with a cause during a year period of time, and will donate part of the profit to BFPA. This way we could again provide the VCT services for HIV and other STIs for free for people in need.
The packages can be found in the company stores of SEXWELL, online at sexwell.bg, as well as in REMEDIUM pharmacies.
The campaign appeals for responsible sexual behavior. The importance of the cause was recognized and is supported also by the platform LOVEGUIDE.bg. The initiative is a follow up of a training on fundraising organized by the Bulgarian Center for Nonprofit Law (BCNL) in which participated Ralitsa Zgalevska from the BFPA team. The campaign has its own page on Facebook and will present important knowledge on prevention of sexually transmitted infections via interviews with different medical specialists, as well of people supporting the idea. Think with your Head and Health is Priceless are the main messages of the campaign.
